2024 Ride Itinerary
Thursday – 9/26 Staging at Ernie Howlett Park.
Friday – 9/27 Cruise to Catalina Island via the Catalina Express.
10:00 am – Catalina Express departs San Pedro.
11:15 am – Catalina Express arrives at Two Harbors – Purchase lunch, and/or
Buffalo Milks.
1:00 pm – Transportation to camp at Little Harbor. Members help
each other with camp set-up – Please leave wranglers and horses alone until they’re ready for you at picket lines – There will be opportunities for short, around-camp riding.

5:30 pm – Bar opens – Hors d’oeuvres – Welcome!
6:45 pm – Dinner – Welcome to camp – Volunteer jobs – Trails books – What
happens tomorrow?
10:00 pm – Lights out/generator off at headquarters every night.
After 10 pm – Please use flashlights, headlamps.
Saturday – 9/28 Sponsors ride with FYGs to West End Bison Corrals,
lunch and mounted group photo.

8:00 am – Hot and hearty breakfast served.
RIDES – Many routes to the Bison Corrals from 1.5 to 3 hours. Each group’s trail boss will next make sure their group is ready to

Camp or Trail Lunches – Make them every day by 10:00

and enjoy the beach. Shop the

Don’t forget to make your bagged lunch by 10:00 am.

6:45 pm – Dinner – Closing announcements.

Thursday 10/3 Short Rides – Keep the job of breaking camp, packing, and catching the bus to Two Harbors in
mind.

8:00 am – Hot and hearty breakfast until 8:30 am.
Box Lunch in camp.
1:30 pm – Deadline all camp/personal gear to grass area to load truck.
1:30 pm – Deadline – All personal gear to HQ to take on boat.
1:30 pm – Help pack up camp infrastructure.
2:45 pm – Transportation to Two Harbors.
4:45 pm – Catalina Express leaves for San Pedro, cruises via Avalon.
7:00 pm – Catalina Express arrives in San Pedro.
Friday 10/4 10:00 am – Barge with horses and camp gear leaves Two Harbors.
3:30 pm – Short/Long Ride riders, pick-up horses/gear at Ernie Howlett Park.
